A note from Erin

Why I started The Flock.

I’d worked in disability support for years, and I kept seeing the same thing. People were getting support, but they weren’t getting to know the people supporting them. New faces every week. Nobody who really knew their story.

So I started The Flock to do it differently. We keep our team small and our client list smaller. We take the time to find the right match, and we look after our team so they stay.

The best part? Everyone knows each other. Our clients know the whole team, our team knows every client, and we all get together often. It feels like family, because in a lot of ways, it is.

Whether you’re facing a challenging time or simply need someone to lean on, we’re here for you. Just like family, we’re here to celebrate your victories, support you through tough times, and provide a listening ear when you need it. Our community

Everyone knows each other.

This is the bit that makes The Flock feel like family. We get together regularly as a whole group, team and clients, for picnics, meals and celebrations.

It means that if your usual worker is ever away, the person who steps in isn’t a stranger. It’s someone you’ve already shared a laugh with.
